Stefan Thonhofer at the IEEE-Conference “EuroSimE 2016”

Modelling and Simulation is an important method in the development process of Microelectronics and Control Systems. At the IEEE EuroSimE 2016 Conference in Montpellier (France), more than 150 international experts from both academic research institutes as well as industry discussed novel simulation methods from 17 to 20 of April 2016. Special emphasis was laid on multi-physics aspects – i.e. combining several physical domains such as electrical modelling, thermal modelling or fluid dynamics.

Within this scientific community, Stefan Thonhofer (Virtual Vehicle) presented the paper “Guidelines for Enabling Modular Simulations According to Signal-based Subsystem Modelling” (M. Benedikt & S. Thonhofer). These guidelines form the basis of the innovative EU-LIVE modular and hierarchical modelling approach.
